Photo proof

An alarm that makes you take a picture.

A photo alarm gives you something concrete to do after the crow. Retake a saved view, find an object, photograph the sky, or show the bed you have made. Choose the task before the alarm rings.

Photo missions are included in Coop Pro. Saved-place matching and AI photo checks work differently; choose the right one for your privacy and connection preferences.

Saved-place matching is different from AI photo proof

Place Photo compares a new picture with a reference view you saved. It is useful when you want to return to the same spot each morning. Keep the angle and lighting reasonably similar; update your reference if the room changes.

Object Hunt, Sky, Make Bed and Custom Proof can use a remote AI check to judge the requested scene. Those tasks send a photo for verification. The privacy page explains the processing; choose an on-device mission instead if you do not want to send an image.

Pick the photo mission that fits your morning

For a clear destination, use a saved kitchen or bathroom view. For a small routine, choose Make Bed. Object Hunt gives you an item to find, while Custom Proof lets you describe the evidence you want to provide. A sky photo needs a place and lighting that work at your wake time.

Do not build the task around a route that is unsafe, a room you cannot enter, or an object somebody else moves. Practice once while awake. A simple task in your own home is a better first experiment than a complicated chain.

What happens without a connection?

Place matching runs on the phone. The four AI photo missions have an offline fallback when remote verification is unavailable. A fallback is less strict than a successful online check; it should not be described as the same verification.

If dependable on-device completion is your priority, choose Barcode, Math or Memory Grid. Review camera permissions and set a short test alarm after changing your setup.

Questions before your first alarm

Does this alarm display a photo or require me to take one?

Coop’s photo missions require a picture as part of completing the alarm. They are different from alarm apps that simply display a favorite photo while a sound plays.

Can the alarm make me take a picture of my made bed?

Yes. Make Bed is one of the AI photo missions in Coop Pro. Frame the bed clearly and follow the in-app verification result.

Do all photo missions upload an image?

No. Place Photo matching is on-device. Object Hunt, Sky, Make Bed and Custom Proof can send an image for an AI check. Use the privacy page to understand each optional feature before enabling it.

Can I use a barcode instead of a photo?

Yes. Barcode is a separate Pro mission that reads a saved code on the phone. It is a good option when you want a physical checkpoint without an AI photo request.
