Terms of use
Last updated August 21, 2026
These terms cover the Coop alarm app and the Coop website. There is no Coop account. Alarm data stays on your phone.
The agreement
By installing or using Coop you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use Coop. The date at the top is the current version.
Using Coop
You use Coop at your own risk. Alarms depend on your phone, its settings, and the operating system.
Silent mode, Do Not Disturb, battery savers, and some phone makers can delay or mute alarms. Coop asks for the permissions it needs, but no alarm app can promise a wake-up in every case.
Coop is not a medical device. If missing a wake would cause harm, keep a second way to wake up.
No Coop account
Coop has no sign-up and no Coop login. Pro follows your Apple or Google store account. Deleting the app removes local data unless you kept a backup.
Subscriptions
Coop Pro is billed by Apple or Google. Trial length, price, and period are shown in the app before you pay.
Subscriptions renew until you cancel in your store account. Apple and Google set store rules, prices, and taxes. Their terms also apply.
Refunds
Refunds go through Apple or Google. Coop cannot refund a store purchase for you.
Your content
Alarms, mission setups, barcodes, place photos, history, and backups stay on your device unless you export them.
You own that content. We do not host your mornings and we take no license to share them.
Fair use
Do not attack, overload, or probe the photo check. Do not try to steal keys or bypass device checks.
Do not use Coop to harm someone else. Do not scrape the website in a way that breaks it.
Our work
Coop, Kip, the sounds, the text, and the code belong to us or to people who license them to us. You get a personal license to use the app. You may not copy, sell, or reverse engineer it except as the law allows.
Other services
Payments go through Apple or Google, with receipts at RevenueCat. Photo checks use a short Cloudflare tool and a vision model at OpenAI. The website runs on Vercel.
Those companies have their own terms. Coop is not responsible for their outages.
No extra promises
Coop is provided as is. We do not promise that an alarm will ring, that a mission will work, or that data will never be lost on your phone.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, Coop is not liable for missed alarms, lost data, or harm from using the app alone to wake up.
If a court still finds us liable, that amount is capped at what you paid us for Coop in the twelve months before the claim. Store fees paid to Apple or Google are not paid to us.
Stopping
You can stop using Coop at any time. Erase everything in Settings, or uninstall the app.
We may change or stop offering Coop. Cancel a subscription in your Apple or Google account.
Changes
We may update these terms. The new date at the top replaces the old version. If you keep using Coop after a change, you accept the new terms.
